Jazz Wilkins was crowned Miss Georgia USA 2012 on November 19, 2011 at Woodland Performing Arts Center in Cartersville, Georgia. She will represent Georgia in Miss USA 2012 Pageant.




Jasmyn Alexandria Wilkins was born on May 6th 1990 in Chattanooga, TN. She has lived in several different states throughout her life due to her fathers’ busy career as a professional athlete in the NBA, though she has spent the majority of her life residing in Atlanta, Georgia. She attended high school at Wesleyan School in Norcross. Georgia where she was a member of her schools Symphonic Orchestra and Marching Band playing the alto and tenor saxophone, as well as a student mentor in an enrichment program called Peer Leadership. She also played basketball and lacrosse, ran cross-country, and was captain of the varsity track and field team. She graduated high school with academic honors and went on to attend Clemson University in South Carolina as well as her current school Georgia State University in Atlanta where she is majoring in Nursing.

Miss Wyoming USA 2012, Holly Allen, is stepping up her preparation for the upcoming Miss USA 2012 Pageant. She was the guest speaker at the Rotary Club of Lander’s regular weekly meeting Dec. 29.

Born and raised in Lander and an integral part of her family’s dude ranch in the Wind River Mountains, Holly said she had done it all, from guiding guests, teaching dudes how to ride horses and to fish, and being the ranch chef. She said being in the outdoors has always been a part of her life, and that is one message that she is taking to each school she visits during her reign. “It’s so important for kids to get outside and be active, and I’m promoting that during my year,” she told the Rotarians.

Participating in pageants since she was 16 and in high school, Holly was the first runner-up in the 2011 Miss Wyoming USA Pageant. “It was an honor, but I didn’t want to be second place, so I went back and this year I won the crown.”

Holly received a Business and Marketing degree from California State University-Chico where she was on the executive board of her charity. Allen said she took some time off during her college to travel around Australia, including a month-long solo backpacking trip down under.

Outside of her pageant activities, Holly recruits IT staff for major corporations nationwide.

The Miss USA Pageant is held each summer in Las Vegas. “It’s much more than the one night you see on TV,” Allen said. “We’re there for three weeks of interviews, tours and pageant activities.”

Monique, a Redskins Cheerleader, is a 2010 graduate of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Jazz Dance Performance. She works for the Department of Health and Human Services.

Alaina Bergsma was crowned Miss Oregon USA 2012 on November 27, 2011. She will represent Oregon in Miss USA 2012 Pageant.

Miss USA 2012 , the 61st Miss USA pageant. It will be held in June of 2012. The winner will represent the United States in Miss Universe 2012 beauty pageant. Miss USA 2011, Alyssa Campanella of California will crown her successor at the end of 2012 Miss USA Beauty Pageant.
